[Q:]What experience does Yoshida's have in the Private Label and Co-Packing areas?
[A:]Yoshida's has over 22 years experience in Sales and distribution to the club, retail and private label business segments.

[Q:]What type of products have you produced?
[A:]We currently manufacture sauces, marinades, tea, syrups and dressings.

[Q:]What type of containers are you currently packing in?
[A:]We have the capability to produce a wide variety of glass and plastic bottles ranging from a 9 oz. to 128 fluid oz. In addition, we can produce product in drums, totes, and portion control pouches (ranging from 1 1/2 oz. to 5 oz.).

[Q:]Are you a Kosher facility?
[A:]Yes, our plant is certified by Kof-K, the second largest Koshering agency in the world.

[Q:]Can you produce organic products in your plant?
[A:]Yes, we are organic certified by Oregon Tilth.

[Q:]What is your minimum run requirements?
[A:]We utilize 3 - 1500 gallon mix tanks plus a 275 gallon tank. These would be the smallest we offer. Tolling charges are based on cases produced per day. Minimums depend on package (bottle, pouch, drum etc.)

[Q:]What type of labeling can you do?
[A:]Bottles: Our equipment applies pressure sensitive labels. Portion Pack: Product codes are ink jetted onto the individual pouches.

[Q:]Can you help me with acquiring packaging and ingredients for my product?
[A:]Yes, we can aid you in the sourcing of raw materials and packaging.

[Q:]Do you have a HACCP program in place?
[A:]A documented HACCP program is in place on all products and these programs are available for your inspection.

[Q:]Do you have third party plant audits?
[A:]Yes, annually.

[Q:]Are you a certified minority owned business?
[A:]Yes.

[Q:]Have you ever had a product recall?
[A:]No, however we do conduct a mock re-call twice a year.

[Q:]Do you have line capacity available now?
[A:]Yes, we are currently running 4-10 hour shifts per week so we have at least one additional shift available.

[Q:]Can you provide tamper evident sealing?
[A:]Yes, our shrink band machine will alleviate fears of product tampering.

[Q:]What quality assurance checks do you perform with each batch?
[A:]Salt, pH, brix, titratable acidity and viscosity (both Brookfield & Bostwick)

[Q:]What are your batch coding procedures?
[A:]We are able to identify bottle, pouches or cases via julian coding or use by dates. In addition, packages can be time stamped.

[Q:]Do you have warehousing capabilities?
[A:]We can temporarily store up to 80 pallets of finished goods. If additional warehousing is required, we have immediate access for additional storage that you can utilize.

[Q:]Can you provide assistance with N.L.E.A. labeling compliance?
[A:]Yes.

[Q:]Is your facility registered with the FDA?
[A:]Yes.

[Q:]Can you pack finished goods into trays for the club industry as well as closed cases?
[A:]Yes.

[Q:]Do you package aseptically?
[A:]No, our current capabilities do not allow this.
