| ORIENTAL BEEF STIR FRY |

2 Shiitake mushrooms
2 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. Flank steak cut diagonally into 1/2 inch strips
1 8-oz can water chestnuts, sliced
1 6-oz can bamboo shoots, sliced
1/2 cup Yoshida's stir fry sauce
1/2 lb. Snow peas, trimmed
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 cup white rice, steamed |

1. Soak mushrooms in a bowl of hot water for 15 minutes. Remove and squeeze dry. Cut stems and discard. Cut mushrooms into 1/2 inch slices and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium high heat. Add the steak and stir-fry until the pink color disappears. Add celery, water chestnuts, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots to pan and stir-fry for one minute.
3. Add Yoshida's Stir Fry Sauce and snow peas.
4. Combine water and cornstarch and add to stir-fry. Continue cooking 1-2 more minutes until sauce thickens.
5. Remove from pan and serve with rice. |
